Excited
Other things I'm looking forward too: only 2 weeks of work left!! It will be great to have some time off with Megan before the baby comes. She's been really cuddly and sweet lately, and I want to share some time with her before our lives get a little hectic. I'm looking forward to her meeting her sister...she seems to be quite excited about it. She still says that she is having a baby too, her's is a boy. (I think she may get this from her "Big Sister Dora" dvd...Dora's mom has twins, a boy and a girl, so naturally when I say mine is a girl, she thinks hers is a boy) The other day we were in the car and she was complaining that her carseat straps were too tight (a normal occurance...even though they are not tight at all). I told her it was fine, and they had to be tight enough to keep her safe. Then she said it was tight because her tummy was big. Hmmm..."why is your tummy big, Megan?" "because the baby is growing!" Little stinker! It'll be interesting to see what happens when my baby is out of my tummy....what will happen to hers?
Anyways, I guess I better wrap this up....need to finish up some things here. Just thought I would take a few minutes to share.

Megan milestones

Megan is 34 months old now...just 2 months shy of her 3rd birthday!
She loves to make Smoogies (smoothies) with mommy in the morning.
She knows her ABC's in english and in French.
She loves to sing...songs she knows and songs she makes up.
Bedtime consists of a story and then a lot of songs, usually including the following:
Jingle Bells
Rock-a-bye Baby
Rubber Ducky
Jesus Loves Me
Jesus Loves the Little Children
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Row Your Boat
Skinamarinky Dinky Dink (with the actions of course)
The Goodnight Song
She can't pronounce her V's yet... and says them as B's. (I lub you mommy!)
She loves to help with everything: washing dishes, baking, putting laundry away.
Dora is her favourite show.
She enjoys playing leggo with Daddy.
Loves to colour and use stickers.
She still says "ogurt" instead of yogurt.
She knows a lot of French words, including colours and body parts. (thanks to daycare!)
She is a strong willed little girl, but still loves to cuddle.
The list could go on and on....I love this special girl!!

Helping Daddy
Well, she decided she was going to help Daddy this morning. Mike sent me the following description in an email this mroning, and I thought it was pretty cute!
she got a stool and put it down in front of my lunch on the counter. "I make Daddy's lunch!"
She then proceeded to place the cheese and meat on the bread slices, and then put the whole sandwhich together. (and no, not like us by putting the single slice of bread on top of the rest of the sandwhich. she took the whole sandwhich and turned it upside down, and then put it on the remaining slice of bread. we had to re-load the sandwhich when she was done) I had to cut another slice of cheese, since she ate one of my six slices.
then, she stacked them all in a pile to be ready for the lunch bag. with my breakfast on the bottom of the pile, and a bite taken out of it.
